According to Politico, Battleground Texas is stacking the deck with Democratic power players, including Jeremy Bird, former national field director for President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign.
“With its diversity and size, Texas should always be a battleground state…” Bird says. “Over the next several years, Battleground Texas will focus on expanding the electorate by registering more voters — and as importantly, by mobilizing Texans who are already registered voters but who have not been engaged in the democratic process.”
All this talk of “…expanding the electorate by registering more voters…” is code for going from city to city and encouraging illegals to vote. Bird also mistakenly associates diversity with liberalism. Ultimately, Texas has the best economy in the Union because of its conservative state and local governments.
Three minutes of hilarity come to us today from a rather unlikely pair — Matt Lauer and Al Gore. Give Lauer credit for pressing Gore on the implications of selling Current TV to Al-Jazeera, a global news organization that isn’t sponsored by Big Oil interests, but owned by them.
About why he sold the network, Gore said
”As an independent network, the only independent news and information network, we found it difficult to compete in an age of conglomerates,”
when in reality Current TV was partially owned by Comcast and Direct TV. They couldn’t compete because their ratings were lousy with anchors like Eliot Spitzer who replaced none other than Keith Olbermann after being fired (yet again) from another news anchor job (remember he had been fired from MSNBC back in 2011 by accusing talk radio, Fox News and many others of causing Gabrielle Giffords’ shooting by Jared Loughner when in actuality he was known as a liberal nut).
Of Al-Jazeera Gore said
“And I’m very pleased Al-Jazeera has established itself as a really respected news gathering network.”
This is the same network that threw a birthday party for Samir Kuntar the terrorist and former member of the PLF, sentenced to four life sentences for the ruthless killing of among others, the 4 year old daughter of an Israeli policeman whose head he smashed against a rock with his rifle.
First, Al Gore told us that he invented the internet, then he tried to sell us the snake oil of man-made global warming and now he is trying not to look like a hypocrite and justifies his actions by attempting to legitimize a news network that promotes terrorism. And yet, despite the fact that he has been a fraud from the beginning, people still follow him like some sort of guru.

We all knew that the campaign machinery Team Obama has built up over the past few years was going to continue to work to push President Obama’s agenda, but in what capacity they’d be doing so wasn’t one hundred percent clear.
Tyrannical Governments: The British Empire, Nazis, Communists, Fascist Italy. Our founders knew that America’s citizens would need to protect themselves from out of control government. Self Defense: Home Invasions, Robberies, Assaults, Rape, etc. There are 830,000 to 2.45 million defensive gun uses per year in the U.S. (click here for reference material).
